“One of our prospects had been looking at different solution providers for 3 months and we had been unable to secure the order. I spent one hour with Iain working on pre-call strategy and then immediately telephoned the prospect. The conversation went exactly as Iain had suggested and using the Sandler techniques I have learnt, we secured an immediate order for £9,000.” Jim - Owner, Microsoft Chanel Partner,
"It is seldom in my experience of business today that an individual can make such a positive impact, I mean this clearly as Iain is providing a service to my business, staff members, but also on a personal level. Iain consistently rises above all expectations, investing his energy and knowledge in a truely professional manner. Results from his unique programme are tangible from a very early stage, making a positive difference to the direction and success of my sales team, and ultimately business success." Nick - Managing Director, Glasgow.
We chose the Sandler System for its unconventional and highly effective approach to client centred selling. Peter O'Neil - Sales Director, IBM Computers.
Moving into a sales role was a complete change in career direction for me. Iain and Sandler Training have helped me mould the role I was not delivering on. The unconditional support on offer was unique in that day or night Iain was always available for advice either via telephone or email. The success of the training relies heavily on delegate involvement, Iain is a wonderful facilitator, using individuals examples to demonstrate how sales works and more importantly why. The course material is of a very high quality, and caters for all learning styles, with summary information, detailed chapters and exercises alike. I thank Iain greatly for his commitment and patience during the learning curve we undertook together in changing me from a "buyer" to a "seller". Emma Rogers - Business Development Manager, The Learning & Development Centre
The training was refreshing, and an eye-opening experience, prompting the development of practical, applicable and most of all effective skills and techniques. Iain is an excellent teacher capable of confidently, and clearly explaining the material involved and ecouraging its practical application. The regular coaching that followed ensured the techniques and skills learned during the training were refined, well practised and continually utilised rather than forgotten. I would definitely recommend this training. Andrew Steele - Business Development, Objective Associates
A very rare training session where I was never bored and always focussed on the material. I have a feeling that we now have a proper sales structure in our business and look forward to seeing the results. Elaine Gibson - Director , Scotia Radio Services
After only the first visit with my mentor, Iain Swanston of Sandler Training, I felt a very positive shift in my perspective and I began to practice and learn more about the approaches Iain was suggesting to me.
Subsequently, I have had some very valuable techniques and methods reinforced and although I still require a lot of practice, I feel in a far more positive place about how to build a client base. The most valuable gift for me has been to be able to separate my performance in my business role from who I am as a person. I have learned that failure will only improve my performance and I no longer fear it or take it personally.
Learning from someone who is open about their success and failures makes the mentoring relationship very real. There isn’t the Alan Sugar – “My way or the highway” approach. It’s much more about shared insights, clear definition of goals and an ability to laugh at yourself on the journey.
Overall I see this programme as a very key element of what will make me very successful in the future. I am very grateful for the opportunity and for Iain’s dedication. Mary Neilson - Owner, Talent For Business
